Broccoli and Bacon Quiche

Serves 4 | 
A supremely eggy treat.

Ingredients:

1 premade pie crust
4 eggs
2 cups broccoli flowerets
4 slices bacon
1 cup half and half
1 cup grated Swiss cheese
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Cook bacon in a pan until slightly undercooked. Remove the bacon from pan and place on paper towels. Discard bacon grease.
  3. Beat eggs with half and half and Swiss cheese. Stir in broccoli, salt, garlic powder and lemon pepper. Crumble bacon and stir half of bacon into egg mixture.
  4. Place pie crust into a pie plate. Pour quiche mix into pie crust. Place into oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven sprinkle remaining bacon over top and let rest for about 10 minutes.
