Biscuits with Sausage Gravy

Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
16 oz breakfast sausage
1/4 cup flour
2 1/2 cups milk
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
Directions:
Follow package directions to bake biscuits.
As biscuits are baking, cook sausage in large skillet over medium heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in flour. Gradually add milk. Cook until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
Reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Split biscuits in half. Place 2 halves on each plate. Top biscuits with about 1/3 cup gravy and enjoy!
