Here's a few ideas that might help solve the Thanksgiving leftover dilemma. There's a lot you can do with turkey: sandwiches, wraps, tacos. But what can you do with stuffing and cranberry sauce? Simple Shortbread Cookies
Serves 24
Ingredients:
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Combine brown sugar, flour, vanilla extract, butter and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix until ingredients are smooth.
Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Spoon cookie dough on cookie sheets, spacing evenly. Place into oven to bake for 13-15 minutes, until lightly browned.
Remove from oven and let cool.
