Pour cooking oil into a pan. Bring to medium heat.
Combine flour, baking powder and sugar in a bowl. Once mixed, add milk and pineapples. Stir together until dough sticks together.
Separate dough into 12 equal pieces. Press down with a spatula to create patties. Place dough in hot oil pan and cook until browned then flip. Repeat with remaining dough to make fritters.
Place fritters on paper towels and top with powdered sugar.

1 can crushed pineapples, drained, 20 oz.
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup cooking oil
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup milk
Powdered sugar, for topping
