Easy Brown Sugar Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients:
2 sticks unsalted butter, plus 2 teaspoons for butter sheets
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 cups flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F. Lightly grease cookie sheets with 1 teaspoon of the butter each and set aside.
Place 2 sticks of butter into a large mixing bowl, use electric mixer to cream butter. Add brown sugar and beat until light. Add the flour, salt and cinnamon, mix until incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
Roll cookie dough into 18 balls. Place the dough into the prepared sheets. Bake until set and pale golden brown, about 12-15 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool for 5 minutes.
