Slow Cooker Cinnamon-Sugared Pecans
Serves 6
Ingredients:
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
16 oz. pecans
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
Set crock pot to high 15 minutes before using. Once the crock pot is hot, add butter and pecans. Stir together until pecans are well coated.
Pour in powdered sugar, stir ingredients together until well coated.
Place lid on, cook on high for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to low and stir occasionally for 2-3 hours.
Pour pecans into a mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine ginger, cloves and cinnamon. Stir ingredients together and then sprinkle over pecans. Stir pecans to get even coating.
