Ingredients:

1 lb strawberries, hulled and quartered+ Add to Shopping List
1/4 cup strawberry liqueur+ Add to Shopping List
2 tablespoons brown sugar+ Add to Shopping List
2 tablespoons unsalted butter+ Add to Shopping List
1/4 teaspoon salt+ Add to Shopping List
Fresh strawberries, sliced, for garnish+ Add to Shopping List
1 mini angel food cake+ Add to Shopping List
Directions:
Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add brown sugar, and stir until dissolved.
Take pan off stove; add liqueur and return to the stove. Add the strawberries along with a pinch salt. Simmer, stirring occasionally, mashing any large strawberry pieces.
Simmer until almost all the liquid has evaporated and the sauce has thickened.
Drizzle strawberry sauce over slices of angel food cake and top with sliced strawberries.

Angel Food Cake with Strawberry Sauce
Serves 6
Ingredients:
1 lb strawberries, hulled and quartered
