Deep Fried Cheddar Cheese Bites

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups flour, divided
1 lb. cubed cheddar cheese
1 cup lager beer
Canola oil, for frying
Directions:
Place 1/4 cup of flour into a large, re-sealable plastic bag.
Add cheese cubes, a couple of pieces at a time, to plastic bag; shake to coat. Set aside.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or electric skillet until the temperature reaches 375 degrees F.
While oil is heating, whisk remaining flour and beer together in a large bowl. Dip cheese cubes, a couple at a time, into batter and then fry until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels before serving.
